Why Interface Quality Is Critical for Payroll and HR
Payroll and HR data carry significant compliance obligations. SEAK's integrations are built for full traceability — every data transfer is transparent and duplicate submissions are prevented by design.
Time Period Locking
Submitted pay periods are locked against duplicate submissions — preventing double entries in your payroll run.
Validation Checks Before Submission
Directories, file paths, and write permissions are verified before every operation — catching errors before they ever reach the target system.
Clear Error Classification
Every process logs blocking errors and non-blocking warnings separately – so your payroll team can instantly see what needs to be resolved before the run.
Documentation per Interface
Interface documentation including foundational guidelines plus topic-specific manuals (inventory management, payroll) plus a data sheet for each individual interface — available for IT audit and compliance review.

All Integration Areas in Detail
IT decision-makers looking to dive deeper can request the complete interface documentation — covering all modules: master data, time entries, attendance and absence management, inventory and traffic data, payroll transfer, planned revenue and results data, real-time API plugin, as well as interface quality and documentation standards — including partner lists, standard formats, and error classification.

Frequently Asked Questions About SEAK Integrations
Which payroll systems integrate with SEAK?
SEAK natively exports payroll data to DATEV Lodas, DATEV Loge, Sage HR, SAP, LOGA, Hansalog, KIDICAP, Lexware, PAISY P1/P3, Navision, SBS Lohn Plus, Hamburger Software, Varial, lohndirekt, and more. Data is transferred by pay type and cost center, with period-locking to prevent duplicate submissions.
Does SEAK integrate with SAP?
Yes. SEAK integrates with SAP on two levels: via the classic export of master data, time events, and payroll data, as well as through a REST API with OAuth2 authentication for real-time synchronization of master data, full-day, half-day, and partial-day absences, and payroll data.
Does SEAK integrate with Personio?
Yes. SEAK integrates with Personio via REST API using OAuth2 authentication. Master data with 50+ employee attributes is imported from Personio, while absences (full-day and half-day) are written back — on a scheduled basis and fully logged.
Does SEAK work with DATEV?
Yes. SEAK natively exports payroll data to DATEV Lodas and DATEV Loge. The integration is built into SEAK's standard payroll transfer and is actively maintained by our team. New DATEV requirements are delivered automatically through regular SEAK updates.
How is data quality ensured?
Before every transfer, directories, file paths, and write permissions are verified. Configurable conditions filter data records, and every operation is fully logged. Errors are classified as blocking; warnings as non-blocking. For payroll transfers, the relevant period is additionally sealed.
Does connecting to SEAK require custom development?
In most cases, no. SEAK interfaces come pre-built on the product side; customization is handled through configuration — field mapping, filter rules, pay type tables, and period logic. Custom formats are only developed where a partner system does not support a standard.
Can SEAK integrate visitor frequency systems?
Yes. SEAK natively imports footfall data from ADT Sensormatik, crosscan, DILAX, Checkpoint, NEDAP, Visapix, and Vitracom. This data is directly linked to workforce demand planning — providing the foundation for traffic-based scheduling across your retail floor.
